Who we are

Ichonic ("we", "us") builds ecommerce apps and writes setup guides for Wix and Shopify store owners. Our website is https://ichonic.com. For privacy questions, email [email protected].

What this policy covers

• Visitors to ichonic.com (blog, pricing, contact, and related pages)
• Merchants who install our apps from the Wix App Market or Shopify App Store
• People who email us or send a message through the contact form

Storefront shoppers interact with merchant stores, not with Ichonic directly. When our apps process shopper data, we do so as a processor for the merchant who installed the app.

Information we collect

Website visitors

You can read the blog and product pages without creating an account. We do not run third-party advertising pixels or analytics trackers on this site today.

The theme preference (light / dark / system) is stored in your browser via local storage so the site can remember your choice. That preference stays on your device.

Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps when you load a page. We use that only to run and secure the site.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. The form is processed by Web3Forms, which delivers the message to us. If you email us directly, we keep whatever you send so we can reply.

App merchants (Wix and Shopify)

When you install an Ichonic app, the platform (Wix or Shopify) shares merchant account and store data needed to run the app — for example shop identity, theme or site connection details, and settings you configure inside the app.

Depending on the app, that can include product, order, customer, review, subscription, chat, or tracking configuration data that the platform API exposes for the features you enable. We do not sell that data.

How we use information

• Operate and improve ichonic.com and our apps
• Reply to support and sales questions
• Bill and authenticate merchants where the platform requires it
• Fix bugs, prevent abuse, and keep services available
• Meet legal or platform requirements (Wix, Shopify, or applicable law)

We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact-form messages for marketing lists unless you ask us to stay in touch.

Sharing

We share information only when needed to run the service:

• Platforms — Wix and Shopify host the storefronts and provide the APIs our apps use
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, email delivery (including Web3Forms for the contact form), and similar vendors that process data on our instructions
• Legal requests — if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety

Pixel Pro sends ad events to Meta and/or TikTok only when a merchant configures those destinations. That traffic is the merchant's tracking setup, not Ichonic advertising on our own site.

Retention

Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer you and handle follow-ups. Merchant app data is kept while the app is installed and for a reasonable period after uninstall so we can complete platform-required cleanup, resolve billing disputes, or meet legal obligations. Hosting logs rotate on the provider's normal schedule.

Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the data we handle (HTTPS, access limits, platform OAuth where required). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If you believe your account or install was compromised, email us right away.

Your choices

• Email [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you
• Uninstall an Ichonic app from your Wix or Shopify admin to stop ongoing processing for that store
• Clear local storage in your browser to reset the site theme preference

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA. We will respond to valid requests within the time those laws require.

Children

Our site and apps are for business users (store owners and operators), not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when our products or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or apps after an update means you accept the revised policy.
